1、 Common core quality issues

Material related issues: Some manufacturers mistakenly use or mix plates, such as mistaking ordinary stainless steel for 316L. In outdoor acid rain and salt spray environments, corrosion and coating peeling are prone to occur, directly shortening the service life of the cabinet.
Structural and sealing defects: Poor fit of door seams, aging and peeling of sealing strips, and unreasonable design of drainage channels can lead to rainwater infiltration and cause internal equipment short circuits, commonly found in low-priced non-standard cabinets.
Processing process defects: There are problems such as dimensional deviation, incomplete welds, surface scratches and burrs. After long-term outdoor use, cabinet deformation and protection failure are prone to occur.
Performance not up to standard: The waterproof rating does not meet the nominal IP55/IP65 standard, and the adaptability to high and low temperature environments is poor, making it unable to withstand the complex outdoor weather conditions.

2、 Targeted solutions

Source control materials: Introduce PMI material composition testing, verify plate grades before production, eliminate mixing and material errors, and prioritize the use of hot-dip galvanized plates and 304 and above grade stainless steel.
Optimize sealing structure: Adopting a design of thickened silicone sealing strips, stepped water blocking edges, and embedded drainage channels, coupled with bolt compression sealing, to block the path of rainwater infiltration.
Standardize the processing flow: calibrate the accuracy of the processing equipment, strictly follow the standards for welding, bending, and surface spraying processes, and avoid problems such as dimensional deviations and weld defects.
Finished product performance verification: IP waterproof testing shall be completed in accordance with GB/T 4208 standard, and environmental simulation tests such as high and low temperature, corrosion resistance, etc. shall be carried out simultaneously to ensure that the finished product performance meets the standards.
